I havethe three volume print version of Gurnall's Christian in Complete Armoour. Here is a quote:

"Prideful by nature, man would like nothing better than to be his own god (though for clamoring so high he got his fall). Find a doctrine that nourishes a good opinion of man in his own eyes, and he will show himself a glutton at its table."

Here is a quote from the Logos resource:

The Logos version must be the original, public domain version but I sure like the "updated" version better.

Observation 1:  My dead tree version (Hendrickson p81) matches the Logos version's verbiage here.  

Observation 2:  I have highlights and underlines all over the page, but missed that selection on my first read through.  I shall highlight it in in your honor Terry.  [;)]
