Syntax Search again. Any help?

Hello all.

A while ago I asked for help on a syntax search for a construction in Ps 75. (http://community.logos.com/forums/t/19240.aspx).

Now I am back with another construction that is really bugging me. Well, I have already asked this question somewhere but I could not find yet a way to make this search works. There it goes:

It is in Ps 75:7-9. See that it is a sequence of 3 sentences beginning with the KY conjunction. All I want to do is to search for any other occurrence of the same sequence, namely: a sequence (or clause depending on your resource) of 3 sentences that begin with KY.

I have tried in A-F and WIVU (on L3), but I cannot get the right result. I began with A-F but in their interpretation, the third KY is not the beginning of a new sentence but the continuation of the previous. Now the WIVU has the sequence as 3 sentences with the KY beginning each of them.
So, I constructed a search and I got two results in the Psalms, the two results have the right structure, but Ps 75:7-9 is not there!! Somebody please help me! Help me see what I cannot see! It is your opportunity to make a blind see and start performing miracles!!!

Are you sure Talstra does not see "זה ישפיל וזה ירים" in verse 8 as two additional separate phrases?

The way I see it "כי אלהים שפט" is a whole phrase: אלהים is the subject and the participle שפט is the predicate.

After that come two phrases that together explain the previous phrase ( "כי אלהים שפט" ) : The first one is "זה ישפיל". The Subject in this phrase is covert (=included in the inflected verb or contextually derived from the previous phrase i.e. אלהים) . The predicate is the inflected verb ישפיל while זה serves as an object (or other complement for all that matters). The second phrase is constructed in the same way only the predicate is of a different lexeme ירים.

In that case, the כי phrases in your verses are not consecutive.

If Talstra (or you) interpret differently, I would be grateful if you could share the syntactic analysis with the rest of us.

I did not see that Talstra makes 3 sentences of v. 8. Exactly how you explained it, v. 8 has indeed three clauses.
I guess I messed everything up between WIVU and A-F. A-F is confusing to me, they joints 8b and 8c with v. 9.
But anyway, I am sorry to make you waste your time. I should have been more careful. I guess I am confusing texts already because I am doing a lot of syntax search just to get used to it.

A-F is confusing to me

A-F is confusing to me too and as a syntax database for searches I am not sure it is of any use. I have AFAT (I don't own SESB at the moment) I see the division you are talking about. Semantically it seems odd.
