Logos won't open (I didn't change anything)

Woke up this morning, clicked on logos, and nothing. It just bounces. I get the signing in window, and the logos icon bounces, but after a few seconds, nothing. I read another post that seemed to have a similar problem related to user/password; however, I have not changed my username or password in quite some time and have used logs on my mac problem free for months.

Nothing = crash and program disappears? Then post logs.

Nothing = it stops bouncing and just sits there? Log in again and see what happens.

Nothing = the program freezes and will not respond to input? Post logs.

Nothing = non of the above? Post fuller description and / or screen shot.

Sorry for the lack of details.

Nothing = the signing in box disappears, and the little arrow on the bottom that normally accompanies an "open application" goes away too. In other words, the program doesn't open, and just kind of stops.

I guess I wouldn't say "crash," because it never really opened in the first place.

I did hold the apple key and reset my login information, including trying the log in to a blank slate feature.

Could be a crash, version mismatch, or something else; would like to read Logos4.log file.

Please post logs; wiki Mac Troubleshooting page has How to Report Bugs in Logos 4 Mac section with log posting steps (can reply to this thread).

Correct = Yes. Log files show Logos 4.3 Beta 1 version, which was accidently available to Stable channel for a few minutes (quickly changed to correct Logos 4.2a SR-5 version).

At this point, need to manually update "Logos Bible Software 4" application, can use Update Error steps to download and install.

If choose Stable version, need to Delete logos4 in /Users/mikeweston/.mono/registry/CurrentUser/software (note: mikeweston is your login name)

Likely will need to Delete CopyBibleVerses.db in /Users/mikeweston/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Documents/r2dgwj4n.ccz/CopyBibleVerses/

Note: Stable deletions based on forum discussion Fix for 4.2a SR-5 Update Issue (which also has find command for ~/.mono folder).

Wiki page has Logos 4 Beta Program information and risks.

Observation: Logos 4.2a SR-5 and Logos 4.3 Beta 3 check your indexes; if needed, will rebuild them.

If update successful, smile [8-|] If not, please post new set of logs.

Success! Re-installed the beta 4.3 version, and all is well...(I did all those other steps in there too...)
