Two new resources showed up today:
Ancient Aramaic and Hebrew Letters (Texts) and
Prophets and Prophecy in the Ancient Near East (Texts)
I didn't order them as far as I know, and didn't get an e-mail about them. Explanation?

Somebody paid for them. Have you checked your Order history?
Nope, they're not in my order history. I wonder if they're freebies that came with today's upgrade?
Nice collection Pam, just the sort of thing that I am interested in. Tell you what! Why don't you transfer them to my account, and then you will not have to figure out what to do with them. [:D]

Not for me, they didn't.
Can't help but wonder if someone is wondering where their copies went. [;)]

Yep. Perhaps a sales person added the licenses to the wrong account.
I haven't received them and they aren't free! You'll have to check with Customer Services.
Pam, if you purchased the 2010 Christmas Master Collection, they were both a part of it (that is how I got mine). It could be that they didn't download previously?
Possible solution to the mystery. I also have these 2 resources, acquired December 25 as part of the Master Collection 2010:
Ancient Aramaic and Hebrew Letters (Translations) and
Prophets and Prophecy in the Ancient Near East (Translations)
Logos must have decided to add the original texts as separate resources.
That must be it, Praiser. Mystery solved!

I suspect I can throw some light on that.
Did you by any chance buy the Christmas Master Collection? Or one of the other Christmas collections? I've been complaining about two files that were never unlocked although they should have been, and the Aramaic and Hebrew part of the Ancient Aramaic and Hebrew Letters were one of those files (we only got half the book, the English part). The other one was Mekhilta de-Rabbi Shimon Bar Yohai, where we instead got the Hebrew, but not the English, file.
It took me an awful lot of trouble and mails, and I ended up having to contact Dan directly, but that seems to have done the trick. I could now download both of those missing files, plus your third one. Obviously Dan referred the issue to the right person, someone conscientious enough to not only correct the two files I complained about, but also to go through the whole list and find a third bilingual book where only one half had formerly been unlocked, and which I hadn't [yet] discovered. And to unlock them for more people than me.
All of you who bought something at Christmas that included [half of] one or more of these three books should check that you are now getting the other halves. You have payed to get the whole books.
I must e-mail Dan and thank him tomorrow.
EDIT: I see that you figured most of it out while I wrote. I was downloading and indexing at the same time so my computer wasn't exactly responsive.

That's weird, I have these three resources that you mention are just now available, and all three show a date of "Last Updated" as October 22, 2010. Were they available to some people but not everyone? I can post an image if you need it...

Did you purchase them in the Writings From the Ancient World (16 vols.) bundle before the 2010 Christmas collection? With an update on your system of Oct 22 it would appear you purchased them before the Christmas Collection was even offered..

It's three books, but you're supposed to have six resources (3 original languages, 3 English translations). Do you?
And, like Praiser says, it sounds as if you bought them before Christmas.

Yes I have six resources, and yes I bought the older collection. I see what you are saying now, that the resources weren't unlocked as part of the Christmas bundle, not that the resources weren't available at all. Thanks.
I see what you are saying now
Good. [:)]
Someone who prepared the list of files to unlock made a simple mistake, missing that these books consist of 2 files each. That's quite understandable; it was a very long list and no one can be intimately acquainted with every single book Logos sells, especially as some of these hadn't been sold individually prior to Christmas. What's less understandable is the huge amount of effort I had to put in before someone finally admitted I was right. But hopefully everyone who should have the files now have them.
