Content on James Hastings Dictionaries

Does anyone now if the content on James Hastings' Dictionary of the Apostolic Church (2 vol set) ... now about to close on Community Pricing ... is a subset of James Hastings Dictionary of the Bible (5 vol set) or is different content? Thanks!

Perhaps there is some overlap but I believe the articles were separately authored. You can see this by looking at the samples given on the two different resources' Logos description pages. The first article you can see in each dictionary is on Aaron, but they are written by different authors and the article in the Dictionary of the Bible is longer. Note that the article on Abba is longer in the Dictionary of the Apostolic Church. It might be handy to have both.

The Dictionary of the Apostolic Church and the Dictionary of Christ and the Gospels form the Hastings NT Dictionary. If you buy one, you should buy the other.
I'm in for all of the Hastings Dictionaries except the 1 volume.

Are you saying that you will be sure to buy the wrong one? [6]

I meant: If you buy one, you should ALSO buy the other (in order to have the dictionaries for the NT). [:D]

Both sets are available on Google Books if you want to compare the content.
