I am excited to see Balthasar coming to Logos. Since his works can be quite intimidating (and costly) an introduction to writings might be helpful. I would strongly recommend two short, inexpensive books written by him. "Love Alone is Credible" is an excellent overview of the seven volume "The Glory of the Lord" and "Engagement with God" is a superb brief introduction to "Theo-Drama". To those of you who are Barth fans its important to note that Balthasar had a deep admiration for his work and they found many significant points of agreement. Balthasar would be a great addition to the Logos library for any person interested in serious theological study.

    I probably will not be purchasing - given the cost and likelihood that he will contribute to the few remaining years of my career, but others are and other still may choose to do so.
