The biggest drawback for me

I will enjoy Vyrso as soon as it has one feature every other e-reader has: the ability to "archive" titles from my library, keeping only books I'm currently reading on the list.  I have a LOT of logos books, and I hate having to scroll through every single one to find "My Utmost for His Highest" or something I'm actually interested in reading.  Having to wade through every volume of a commentary, every pre-20th century freebie, and every other title included in my base package is just not user-friendly.

Of course, I think the same function should be in the regular Logos app as well.  If it's there, I haven't found it.

Download the books you want to show and then go into airplane mode.

Bob has indicated recently that they have already worked out a good fix to this that will "ship" as soon as it is implemented:

Improved library browsing on the mobile apps is already designed, and will ship as soon as it's implemented. The key improvement will be easy access to recently read/purchased books. The last thing you read -- or bought -- will be easily accessible without browsing or searching.

Yeah, I thought of that, but it seems like a pain.  Especially as I like to continue to receive emails and such while I'm reading.

Glad to hear a potential solution is in the works.  I think Vyrso will be really cool when finished!

    Jack,

I had that same avatar when going through a "not happy" period on the forums over a year ago.

This might be a silly, question, but did you know that if you are on the Library screen and start typing in the search box, it will automatically whittle down your displayed library to show only what matches your search.  When I type the word "Utmost" My Utmost For His Highest immediately appears. Also, once you open it, it appears in the Recent Books tabs at the top. The Recent Books tab tends to show the books that you have recently been in a lot near the top.

I find that the library management feature is actually pretty good as is right now.

I quite agree. As an untrained layman I have what I feel is a healthy concern about books from authors i know nothing about. I don't want to be led astray, a trained pastor etc would be more able to weed out problem beliefs and commentaries. Being able to just highlight favorites and ignore others would be a big plus for me.

I only read a few books at a time and use the "History" button to open books that I have been reading recently.

Also, I have not looked at it in detail, but it appears that you can build a favorites list (see photo) by tapping on the plus sign and star at the top of the page.

You can give your books ratings by stars from your Logos program. You can also sort your books into Categories...then limit your searches to the category you trusted.
