Depends on the size of your Library (Mine is 19+ GB). In the early days of L4 Mac, it took many hours. This usually best done just before bedtime.
Hope this takes care of your problem.
It indexed overnight and everything is back to normal. Seems to be running a bit quicker also. [Y]

EDITED: I got a very prompt answer from 2 Logos people. The problem actually is on my side. Somehow card was not working. Sorry for the confusion.
