Speed reading suggestion??
Another feature request for Vyrso... SPEED READING! I have an application that takes takes any text file and speed reads me through it. Remember those ancient projector with the books on a ribbon that moved through the machine!
I like to copy and paste some books into a speed reading application on my Mac. I convert the book to text and run it through a utility to remove all parenthesis and such. Then, I open the prepared file in my speed reading program that flashes short snippets line by line side by side so that my eyes work across the page.
It seems that my LOGOS books already know where the parenthesis is and other 'eye distractions' are located within the text. Therefore, Vyrso could automatically eliminate these from what displays in its speed reading pane.
What do you think??

I do not know anything about speed reading, so I can't respond to your specific question. However, I want to point out to you that the Vyrso books are not the same as regular Logos resources (although the app does read "regular" Logos resources). It is my understanding that Vyrso resource files have little done to them past the publisher's files. Logos does run an animated process where Scripture references are hyperlinked.0 -

I am writing this on my iPad, while my wife is driving our family home from vacation... I meant to quote part of your post in my reply. What I was trying to say is that "Vyrso" branded resources are similar to other ebooks, and do not have all the work done to them like regular Logos resources do.0
