BUG: PBB and page numbers

I know there have been reports of automatic page numbering not working. But I set forth to do some systematic work with page numbering today. What I found was that automatic page numbering seems to work fine when a field code is added to the milestone, such as:
[[@Page:{ PAGE }]]
However, this is only true if the milestone is located in the body of the page. If the milestone is located in the Header of Footer then the milestone is ignored.
EDIT: PBB also seems to handle page number format properly. e.g. Page numbers that I had formatted as lowercase roman numerals in Word were formatted as such in the Logos resource. Page numbers that I had formatted as numeric in Word were formatted as such in the Logos resource. Even when I mixed the two styles in the same document.

Page number milestone tags in headers or footers aren't supported; see the discussion here: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/34853.aspx
