Can You Re-Start Indexing?

1. I had to stop the indexing because it was stuck on 0:01 for hours, but I don't see any way to start it back up again?

2. I think it has downloaded all the updates but how can I tell? Any way for the program to check for updates or does it do that automatically?

3. There doesn't seem to be any interface to the mac alpha yet? Is that correct? All I can do is open my library and scroll through books but pretty much every time I open a book it crashes. Is there anything else you can do other than open a single book?

You can check the on files indexer.log and logos4.log on /library/application support/logos4/logging to see whether there is any movement to the indexing.

It seems that the information of the indexing is not working. Mine stuck at "Logos Bible Software is downloading updates 0% of 1.4GB" since last night. However, by looking at those files, there are actually indexing and downloading. It also tells me the error occurred.

Thanks for the info, my indexer.log is empty, nothing in it at all?

My logos4.log is a huge file that ended:

Mine stuck at 0:01 for 8 hours before I finally stopped it. I stopped the indexing, closed the program, and then restarted the program. When I restarted, it downloaded an update and then started indexing again. That was 8 hours ago and it is showing that it still has 17 hours left.

Man was just stuck on indexing, downloading, indexing, downloading - over and over and over again. I finally just gave up on it for now.

Once you restart Logos 4, the icon should appear in the menu bar and should start to resume indexing.
