Having upgrading from a beta tester to the lew Scholars Gold (LE) I thought that I would try to install L4 onto my laptop.

I downloaded the filr from my purchace history page and installed from there.

I am finding that I get a MS Windows report saying "Logos Bible Software 4 Indexer has stopped woerking." and I hit "close the program." which I asume closes the indexer. I also find that the program continues to open but without resources.

I have tried scan c:/ {path to LDS Resources} to avoid having to download all the resources but it does not appear to do any thing. I have enabled logs to monitor the process.

Update Now has updated the program to SR-3

Update Resources does not appear to work either.

Having left it for some time and followed the logs it appears that nothing is happening - at least that I want to happen.

Could you please have a look at my logs an see if that can identify my problem.

Oh ... sync now doesn't work either.

logs attached

    Hi Ian,

Looks like you're runnnig in to an issue that we've seen on a couple of machines now, and are still investigating. To work around it for now,  you can delete the file:

    C:\Users\Ian HP\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\3zvfvedw.zci\DownloadManager\DownloadManager.db

This should allow the Indexer to get up and running.

I had that same problem, Bradley.

Deleting the "Download"  file solved it.

Well, didn't actually solve it right away...

    Then had downloads of: 61.1; 60.7; 2.4; 59.9; 1.8; 26.6; and another 61.1MB

all these on a laptop that said it had SR-3!

I did take out the downloder file a couple of times.

It has finally "calmed" down and seems happy again, ie. no more constant downloads for last few moments.  Earlier this morning they were constant.
