I am installing Logos4 and while installing a window pops up and states that Logos has stopped running. I have had no success finishing the download. Any help?

Ed,
Please give us some more information: what is your operating system? how much RAM do you have? what is the processor and speed of the processor? how much free hard drive space do you have?
Is this the first time you have tried to install Logos 4? Are you installing from the on-line installer or from a DVD? What download are you referring to: the download of the program or the download of resources after the program is installed?
Also, please set up your computer to record diagnostic logs. See: http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging to see how to permanently enable diagnostic logging. If you get another hang or crash upload the log files here.
I am installing on Windows 7 and it is a new computer with I3 core and 4GB. I am trying to install from a DVD. I have not had Logos and this new computer. I used Logos 3 on my old computer. When I start the installation disc it starts installing and then I get the pop up saying Logos 4 has stopped running.
If you have the bandwidth, you may want to install directly from the Internet. The DVD you have may, or may not account for any changes made to Win7.
Instructions and further links (including the installer) are here:

I am trying to install from a DVD.
I think, the best way always is to install from the internet (installer for the Logos engine e.g. on www.logos.com/4ways or via the customer service page), since then you get the latest version of the program. Try to install this and then you can use the SCAN command to detect resources on your DVD, which may save you download time.
Hope this helps,
Mick
