... God starts this process and I agree unregenerated sinners are not going to be worshiping God. My point exactly.

Do you see what I mean about contradictory or self-defeating statements? On the one hand you seem to agree that God does the the work of salvation by the Spirit through the Word... then confuse us by saying that the unrepentant (those who aren't worshiping God) shouldn't be studying the Word.
I am not sure how I should have said it...I am not talking about worship in just music
Here is my thought, a professed atheist can/does read the Bible. Clearly they don't know God.
But, there are "self-proclaimed" supposed mature Christians who do not display any fruit of the spirit, but they study the Bible profusely. (The relationship would be in question)
My thought is that if they Worship God in act and deed, then that would be a "fruit" that bears witness to them knowing God. Does that make it clear? I think we are on the same page now.

Somehow I think I agree with you more than you realize.MJD said:I think we are on the same page now.
God must be worshiped in spirit and in truth. Until God quickens the spiritually dead, I don't think there will be much acceptable worship coming from them.
I welcome all peoples of the earth to read the Bible, whether they be saints, sinners, agnostics or cultists. I leave the quickening to His Spirit. No amount of flowery or clever speech from a man can spark that redemption. I'm counting on God's promise, "Seek and ye shall find, Knock and it shall be opened.." to overcome any lies and deception we encounter along the way.Logos 7 Collectors Edition

Amen brother! I agree with you completely. The whole equation begins with God.[O] It is about time we admitted we are on the same team.[:D]

Since the group hug was well underway when I checked forums this morning, I'll join a little late. I'm absolutely in agreement with both ST's and MJD's statements quoted here. The only issue I had (but communicated poorly, I suppose) was with excluding anyone from studying the Bible... and that may have been a misunderstanding on my part.
