I have been creating several several PB resources for my library and have run into an issue with footnotes.
1. How do I create a footnote within a resource (i.e. a book) so that in Logos, when I hover over the superscript 1, 2, 3, etc. the proper footnote shows (like it does with normal L4 resources, and Bible hyperlinks for PB's)?
2. Also, where do I put the footnotes, so that the text is continuous for L4 (for instance, the footnotes are many times at the bottom of each page in the printed copy, but for the electronic edition this interrupts the body of the text)?
3. Is there a way to format the .docx copy so that the footnotes are not shown in the text, but only when I hover over the superscript?
4. If I do have to put the footnotes at the end of the copy all together, then how do I keep the superscript numbers as they are in the printed copy (i.e. 1-4, then 1-3, then 1-5, etc. NOT 1-122). Is there a way to do this so that they match the original printed copy, and not the .docx page formatting? (I mean to say that if, in the original printed copy on page 77 there are footnotes 1-4, then on page 78 footnotes 1 & 2 this is retained since the printed copy pages do not align with the word .docx pages, thus in the Word .docx document on page 55, you might find half 4of the original page 77, and half of the original page 78, thus the footnotes are divided (YEAH, I KNOW IT IS PARTICULAR - SORRY)
