Logos for iPhone not syncing daily reading plan

My iPhone is not showing the daily reading plan that I have in Logos. Biblia.com does not have the correct one either. So it appears there is no syncing going on. Info syncs via iTunes ot my Outlook calendar but not reflected in Logos app on iPhone.
Anybody got an answer?

We have been getting reports of issues with syncing Reading Plans between iDevices and our Logos 4 Mac desktop application.

We are looking into the issue and we should be pushing out a fix in a future release.

I am also having a problem with my daily reading plan on my iPad2. The system does not sync when I indicate checking off my daily reading, so that is one problem but another is that I get multiple copies of my reading schedule on my iPad2 and they do not sync with each other and I cannot delete the additional copies of the reading schedule.

Previously, I deleted the duplicate copies by going to my Mac and clicking on file where I saw the duplicated copies and deleted them there. However, they no longer are appearing on my Mac.

I now have 4 copies of a reading I have completed, I still have 4 copies on my iPad and my NEW reading schedule does not appear at all on the iPad.

How do I know when someone has responded to a posting I have made? Am I notified by email?

When you "subscribe" to an forum thread, an email will be sent to the address associated with your account. In the first screen shot below, you will notice that there are "2 Followers." I am assuming that you are one of them. You can subscribe when you make a post, or you can subscribe by clicking in the upper right hand corner. See first screen shot.

In the second screen shot, I have shown you what it looks like when you are currently subscribed. The message is self explanatory. [:)]

Here is the what I suspected regarding this issue and I later discovered I was correct. I made saved "favorites" to my iPhone LOGOS app and when I checked my iPod Touch LOGOS app it had the "favorites" I had saved on my iPhone LOGOS app. I also created a new reading plan on my iPhone app and I found whatever days I marked as read had then updated on my iPod Touch! Problem is officially understood.

The LOGOS server for the iPhone app is not being updated by the LOGOS server for the PCs. The issue is not with the iPhone app. The LOGOS technical guys responsible for the LOGOS servers have to make sure that the two servers (app server and PC server) are able to communicate with each other so the reading plan can update in real-time. This is why the iPhone LOGOS app is not getting the updates made by the LOGOS software installed on our PCs. There is a break in real-time communication between the app server and PC server.

If you have an iPod Touch and a iPhone you WILL be able to confirm this too. If you make any changes on your iPhone LOGOS app (i.e. create favorites and/or mark certain days in reading plan as read on your iPhone), it will immediately show up on your iPod Touch LOGOS app.

Sadly To say, I called Logos yesterday and all I could get was that they know there is an issue, they are working on it, but they have no ETA on a solution. Some, 7 weeks later and there is no signs of a solution.

Hi my ipad and iphone wont sync with the reading plan I have set up with my two pc's is this a common fault it certainly seems to be how can I over come it as I dont want to take my lap top everywhere with me ... [:D]

I am afraid that this is a common problem at the moment and there is no current workaround.

Logos are working on updating the software to address this but - until then - this will remain a problem.

At the moment we don't know when the updated software will be available - the necessary desktop software is being tested but there will also need to be updates to the mobile apps as well

I would like to voice my concerns/frustrations/disappointments as well that this is not appearing to be fixed any time soon. The discussion has been that this will be in V4.5, but after 4 months since the initial concern has been raised, there still only seems to be a future update that will fix this. If it is going to be in V4.5, then there are still 2 minor releaseses left since my system appears to be only at V 4.3 SR-8. So, we have still a few months til this is resolved?

You are correct that the current stable release is 4.3 SR8.

However, Logos decided that there wouldn't be a 4.4!

So the next release, which does include the desktop aspects of the new synchronisation framework is 4.5 which is currently in beta testing (we are currently on beta 12). We don't know when this will be released.

There will also need to be updates to the mobile apps and we have no insight into their availability.

So, no real answers on the timeline, but hopefully this clarifies a little

Just want to chime in that it is very disappointing to not be able to execute my reading plan for 2012... My reading plans are fairly elaborate and 2011 worked flawlessly... wasn’t expecting this - I am sure Logos wasn’t either... Love you guys and appreciate your hard work.

Do I understand that the beta version being tested fixes the issue? If so, what are the risks...? 'Cause I really want my reading plan to work on my iPhone... really bad...
