Vyrsos trial, small problem and suggestion
Just tried out the Vyrso site. Made my first purchase to check integration with Logos. Site and purchase operated smoothly. Title was immediately recognized, downloaded, and indexed into my library when L4 was opened. Very pleased with results.
My purchase was for a 99 cent special (a John Macarthur title). It does seem like all of the titles I checked would be significantly lower at Logo's competitor. If that were to remain the case, unless the difference was minimal, I'd likely not use Vyrso. While its neat to have the books in Logos, i personally wouldn't be able to justify the roughly 25% -35% price difference I noted for the titles in which I had an interest. I will probably stick to using the competitor for public domain and popular works and Logos for academic. I have reluctantly started that approach due to the generally high cost of Logos' public domain works... for example, Logos' version of Farrar's Life of Christ is $50, compared to 99 cents from Kindle. I do take advantage of prepubs and community pricing (and THANK YOU LOGOS for such great deals that you have been presenting!)... but getting individual titles of older, popular or public domain works just doesn't seem practical or good stewardship ... FOR ME (your experience/needs/preferences may be different). I hope that Logos can become more competitive with Vyrsos titles, as I'd like to support our very good friends at Logos with my purchase dollars (and would, if the markup were only a little higher than the competition).
Noted two issues, however:
After purchase... the normal Logos-type "thanks for your purchase" screen shows. It indicates that an email receipt had been sent to my email account. No email confirmation or receipt has appeared.
The other issue is a strong suggestion for navigation. Resource subjects are so far quite limited. I waded through a lot of things that are of no interest whatsoever to me... it took quite a long time (also saw a number of things that I wasn't sure were really all that appropriate, but that's just me and my expectations). Perhaps an initial resource division into fiction and non-fiction would be a start, as that would eliminate the large number of Amish romance titles that I will not be adding into my Logos library anytime soon (not including these in the "not-so-appropriate category"... just making a comment on the latter in reference to my purchasing habits! ;-)

Emile,
I just bought 16 titles from Vyrso at .99 - 1.99 last night, and I did get a receipt in email.
Also, when you're browsing the books, you can restrict the Genre on the left hand side (last section on the left). You can click on More to see more Genre options.
