Been playing with Proclaim again and the only thing I'm missing is DVD integration. All else is slick and I like, but for us this is a deal breaker.
I have used most of the popular church presentation softwares, and have not been satisfied with any of their DVD integration. I eventually gave up and now "backup" my DVD clips to the computer hard drive.
MediaShout works OK for most of our needs.

DVD integration is planned for a future release.

Great!! Thanks.
Being able to use offline and this feature has me seriously thinking about a switch from MediaShout.
I agree! Loving the software but no DVD interegration is a real bummer!
Any timeline yet as to when DVD integration will be available? We are seriously considering switching from Mediashout to Proclaim, and DVD and Powerpoint integration are the two features we are waiting on. If I could give our worship pastor an estimated date, we would be on board.
Nothing definite yet. Should have a better idea early January. Thanks for your interest.
PowerPoints and DVDs are the features we are looking for; plan is to migrate from EasyWorship that provides these features. New presentation machine has Blu-ray and DVD; our pastors and worship leader want to maximize the experience! Thank you for your outstanding work. <><
can nanyone tell me when I can expect to play dvds??
DITTO its VBS season and that'd be great!
i second the motion!
i ripped all the dvd chapters to mp4s and added them as video content. but dvd control would be easier and better quality.
Has there been any movement on this update? Yesterday a speaker turned up with a disc just before the service started and we didn't have time to copy it. The operator played the disc from the computer using media player, we all heard the audio, but he hadn't dragged the screen across so no picture appeared.
You'd have to select which chapter to play before the service starts, but from a rights perspective our ministers are a bit jumpy about ripping disks (don't ask) even though transcoding can mean the video is optimized for play back.
I wonder the same thing. I'd be on board with proclaim if it could trigger dvd presentation smoothly.
Oh how saddd....I really like everything else....so that is why I could not figure out how to play a dvd???
I ended up ripping and inserting in but the video quality went down and it's a littleblurry
Yes please. News please. I moved from MediaShout but this is the biggest glaring weakness and iMHO should be the biggest priority aside from stability and bug fixes if any still exist.
