Any chance you could set it up so that users could do a one time FTP upload of media to have it available so that we don't have to keep uploading our most often used backgrounds and video loops?
We plan to support uploading multiple files at a time in a future release.

Despite the current limitation of one upload at a time you should never have to upload a single piece of media more than once. It will be available for future use in the 'My Content' section above the store.
how much space do we get? i am guessing a few videos would eat up the space quickly?
There is not currently a per-user limit on uploaded media. There is a limit of 200 MB for any one piece of media.
