Attached (below) is a very simple web page I created to quickly run common Logos update scripts and go to common Logos web pages. I originally loaded this onto the newsgroups, but decided to update it (to include the forums page), and offer it here to those who may not have seen it before.

Installing:

1) Unzip the file and put this somewhere on your harddrive where you can easily find it. I put it in my Documents\Libronix DLS\ folder, but you can put it anywhere.

2) Click (or double-click) on the file and allow it to open in your browser.

3) To add this to your "Links" toolbar (IE) or your "Bookmarks" toolbar (in FF), make sure that toolbar is active:

a) To the left of the location in the address bar is an icon, drag that icon to your "Links" or "Bookmarks" toolbar.

b) If you want right click on the bookmark on the toolbar and select properties. Change the name to anything you like (e.g. LDLS Scripts/Pages).

4) To add this to your favorites/bookmarks (other than the "Links" bar (IE) or the "Bookmarks" bar (FF)

a) In IE (7 or higher) click the star with a plus sign to the left of the tab and add to your favorites as desired.

b) in FF, right click on the tab and select "Bookmark this tab," then continue and save as desired.

Usage:

It's a good idea to run the bottom three update scripts on a regular basis (monthly, or weekly if you know that there are changes brewing).

If you transfer LDLS to a new computer, you will want to run all 5 update scripts. Note that the top script's name and link will have to be changed, should Logos decide to release a version later than 30f. Note also that the Update Basic. I'm not sure if it is necessary to run the "Update basic program" script before the "Update to latest version of LDLS," or if it makes any sense to run the basic update script if you've already run the script to update to the latest version.

On the Logos Common Pages, the "My Account" URL's work if you are always signed in to your account. Else, you'll have to sign in each time.

Disclaimer

Hey, this is here as a help. Use it or don't. Don't blame me if it doesn't work. You are free to modify it any way you like. If you really like this and feel so full of gratitude that you want to give a thank-offering, find a missionary who is running low on support and give it to him/her/them.

Anyway, here's the file, zipped up to work here.
