How to Create and Display Margin Notes?

I just purchased Logos for inductive studies, and was hoping to write and display margin notes in my bible using a process similar to hardcopy methods. I watched Mark's excellent video, but I am still not clear if this is possible.

Cheryl, welcome to the forums and Logos.
No it is not possible to record notes directly in the Logos Bibles. There is a feature called Notes which allows you to create notes attached to specific verses or even words in a verse. That is probably the function Mark was demonstrating. If you do this all you will see is a little marker near verses or words your attached notes to that you can click on and view (or see via a pop-up window).
It would be nice to be able to somehow 'write' in the actual margins and see those notes later as we reread the Bible, but we cannot do that in Logos.

Cheryl ... (2nd) Mark is correct; no can do.
But (as with most things in Logos4), there's always an alternative (that's more tedious of course). I have the same need, and don't want millions of little dots in the text. And so I put my notes in a Word document, and then periodically bring them in as a Personal Book. I then tied them to my Bibles etc and I'm a happy camper. I like this also since my notes can move along with my commentaries; not just the Bibles.

Thanks, Mark and Denise. That's helpful information. I think I'll try the notes tool as demonstrated in the video, but it sure would be nice to have margin notes. Future improvement maybe?

Thanks, Rick. I just started using it this morning and love it already. I am a curriculum developer, and plan to develop small group lessons using Logos.

Although there is room for improvements - I like using the notes in Logos. I have color coded mine for different topics.
