Hi, I've been reading the Bible thru the one year plan on my iPad. I finished Genesis 40 - 41 and the plan won't advance anymore.
How do I get it to continue?
Thanks
Steve
Steve -
First, welcome to the forums! Sorry you are having troubles.
My first question to ask is if you have been using the iPad exclusively for your reading plan. In other words, have you been using only your iPad, or your computer (or another device) too? Unfortunately there are some known issues with syncing for mobile devices, which is what I think you are experiencing. When you say that the plan "won't advance," do you mean you can't "check it off" or that it won't show you what you are supposed to read?
Hi alabama24, thanks for trying to help me!
When I go to the "reading plan" it stops at Genesis 40-41. This is the last daily reading section I read. There are no more "days" to touch to open. Prior to this I had a long list of my future daily reading schedule.
Two Sundays ago, our church was having an outreach event and during some downtime I opened Logos on my iPhone to follow the Pastor's teaching, but didn't open the "Read the Bible in a Year" plan. It has worked fine since, until last night when I tried to read the "One Year" plan.
Steve-
When it is working properly, the current date should always be at the top and you should be able to see many days (10? 14?) into the future. It sounds to me like this is the same sync problem, just from a different perspective. I like to highlight & take notes when I read. Since that is not currently available, I don't use my iPad for daily readings. I do, however, check to see what is going on with my reading plans because other people (such as yourself) ask about it. I have seen the plan on my iPad get a week or more out of date, even though I read daily and update it on my computer.
I do have one last (longshot) thought: You are not in airplane mode, are you?
