BUG: Video artifacts

When I try to play my uploaded videos, there are noticeable and rather large video artifacts in all of them. They are distracting and I'm thinking they are an unintended product of the video conversion process.

I would like to have some control of the conversion process. Could we possibly be given the parameters of the required video format so that I could do my own conversion and then import the already converted file without Proclaim making changes to it?

At this time all videos uploaded to Proclaim are converted by our transcoding service regardless of the original format.

We will look into the artifacts you are seeing on your videos. What format did you start with?

To confirm, I've been getting LOTS of similar results on my end as well when uploading videos. MOV & MP4

Sorry it took so long to reply. I had to get back to the computer that had the original on it.

The one I posted screen shots of was a MPEG-1/2 Video (mpgv), 640x480, 29.97 fps.
