Upload videos

Have tried to upload our announcement video to (warmup) but it give me a limit on size. Also use short videos to promote upcoming items, these to were too big. Is this limit just for the beta version or is this the size limit for all video. Or is there a work-around.

We are looking into other ways of managing data but for now there is a 200mb limit per video uploaded by users.

You could break your videos into smaller pieces, or convert them to a more compressed format to reduce their size.

Mike, we do the same thing in our church, but even a 10 min video I put up wasn't 200MB. What format of video were you using? I recommend compressing it. When using projectors, you can get away with slightly less quality without it being noticeable.

Thanks Lucas for the reply. I build most of our moving stuff in After effects and then put it all together in Proshow Producer. Usually in mpeg2 or WMV, we have really no problems with video if we stay in those areas. Easy worship is our main carrier. I will give the compression a try.

Will there be a limit on the size forever? Will we be able to purchase the ability to play longer videos?

Like Proclaim alot so far but this is a big deal for us.

Also anyword on naitive install of ppt. files without the work around? Not for songs as much as announcements.

We have added the ability to play video files locally from hard drive of any size.

Be aware that videos used locally will not be synced to other computers.

Simply select a video to upload and check the box labeled Local File Only.

You are correct. However if you load a file locally on Saturday, close Proclaim, then open an internet ammended (by another user) synced file on Sunday..Local video file is gone.

This has been my experience. Any way to fix this on my end?

I am not exactly sure what you're doing here.

So, you have a presentation that contains a local video. On Saturday it works fine. Then, on the SAME computer you reopen that presentation that has had a video added to it by another user and the local video is missing?

Same computer reopen nothing has changed except closed program and opened it next day. Video gone.
