I've downloaded it, and every time I try to create my group it gives me the message "unable to connect to groups service", I've been trying it for two days, could it have anything to do with the fact that I am in Brazil?
I don't imagine so. We certainly don't have country-specific restrictions on our users.
What is the name of the group you are trying to create? Have you tried joining a group? You could try joining "Beta Day Test Group 1" (one of my testing groups) to see if you can access the groups service at all.
Try creating a group again and if it fails please attach the log files as per: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/39446.aspx
Thanks,
Hi I've tried to create a group called 2aBatista or it could be called Segunda Batista it wont work...
I've also tried to join existing groups like teh "Beta day test group 1", but I get the sam answer back
"Unable to connect to groups service"
I am attaching the log file...
Thank you,
Filipe4251.Proclaim.log
You might notice some email about joining a group. I manually joined you into one of my testing groups to help rule out an account-side issue.
That doesn't appear to be the problem. I have submitted your logs to our developers for review.
After reviewing the logs you provided, it looks like you are being blocked from accessing our servers by a http proxy.
Check with your service provider if you are not aware of being behind a proxy.
You can check if you are using a proxy by opening Control Panel > Network and Internet > Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settings.
I've checked and I am not using a proxxy...
thanks,
Hi, so... do you think you guys can help me or should I just give up... Proclaim wont let me start a group or join a group...
I hope you guys can help me...
Thank you for helping us so far. That information was indeed helpful, but we need a little more to properly diagnose this issue.
I have sent you an email, as the instructions are somewhat lengthy.
