We have been using Easy Worship since about 2007 and was wondering how the import functionality works. From what I have been reading online, their doesn't seem to be solid import functionality. I hope Im wrong because your software really looks like it can take us where we need to be with our presentation software.

Proclaim does not currently support importing presentations from other presentation software. This is a planned feature that will be coming in a future release.

    Thanks,

When you get that feature going I will take a serious look at Proclaim, but I am not going to manually re-enter all 300 songs we use. This program looks like it has some great potential though

I am faced with a similar issue of importing our song database from Mediashout.  However, The ease of import from songselect, and the logos hymnal have really negated our need for importing our Mediashout database completely.  Every song that I have needed so far has been accessible within a few clicks.

I agree with that if you keep the songs original. However, we change songs up often and probably have more than 400 songs where we. Have changed the verse order or excluded some verses.

Agreed - we've been using MediaShout since Version 1, and have an extensive library of songs formatted and modified for our services.  Without being able to import them Proclaim will be a non-starter for us.

As with others, this may be a make/break issue for me.  First it was a lack of internet at the Church, then I got a phone that also works as an access point.  so I thought I was ready, then I began to use Proclaim in trial to be sure I could transition between services.

The issue then became that my EW library has many songs that I have "modified" for bilingual presentation.  In other words, each song-part has both English and Spanish Lyrics.  Even though PowerPoint (back in the day) was the best with two columns of text, one for each language, I worked around it in EW by cut/pasting the lyrics on the same slide upper/lower

I see that is how I could continue to work around this issue in Proclaim, but I can not start from scratch again.

So, two points on the topic for me:

    1.  have Proclaim allow import of English and Spanish (when available from CCLI) to the same song-set, slides - merged, and not separated slides.

    2.  and/or allow import of existing songs from EW library.
