Welcome [:D]
Would like to look at diagnostic logs.
Wiki Mac Troubleshooting => How to Report Bugs in Logos 4 Mac includes link to 5504.Logos4MacLogging.app.zip (display logging setting, then optionally change); also links to Logos Log Scribe (create zip file of Logging folder with copy of console messages)
Other option is contacting Logos Mac Support => http://www.logos.com/about/contact With your permission, Logos can connect with desktop sharing.

Robert: I think the answer is " yes " , crashing on start-up seems to be a fairly universal situation.
Perhaps it's Feature!-smile.
Mine almost always crashes and I have to restart it. Second time it usually come up and stabilizes.
Hope this helps.

Fortunately, no. Make sure you take KS4J's advice and upload your logs.

Apologies: unable to replicate crash using Logos 4.3 SR-5 on Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6.8).

Currently wondering about "Feature"; am aware Logos 4.3 SR-5 is crashing on OS X Lion (10.7.1 and 10.7.2) for several users; not know why (logs bit different for each user).

Informative plus puzzling (wondering what's left over or cached after initial launch so works second time).

When I click on Logos4 icon in my dock, or even from the applications window, the application tries to start up. The loggin in window pops up and you can see that it is trying to login. Then it goes away, and the application never opens.

Indexer.log and Logos4.log have Logos 4.3 SR-5 crashes since cannot find Logos System Resource (LSR) files; suspect application corrupt.
Wiki Mac Troubleshooting => Uninstalling and Reinstalling in Logos 4 Mac has steps to delete application, followed by Logos 4 Mac download and install (can skip step 3 since should be able to use your existing Logos4 folder).

Well, I have done as suggested and the problem is fixed.
FYI the new OS10.7.2 does not show a users library (users/username/library). I already had an application called iShow Invisibles, and when I used it, it showed all the invisibles, but they were faded out. I was able to get into the library file and other files to delete items as suggested.
Thanks for your help.

To show the users OSX Library, do the following:
- Click GO in the finder menu
- Press the "option" key on your keyboard
- The users library will appear in the drop down menu.

By the way, Wiki Mac Troubleshooting => Uninstalling and Reinstalling in Logos 4 Mac section includes: "OS X Lion note: by default, /Users/username/Library folder is hidden, with many ways to see contents => http://www.macworld.com/article/161156/2011/07/view_library_folder_in_lion.html and can assign keyboard shortcut => http://mac.finerthingsin.com/post/7849528212/lion-library-folder-visible "

A permanent solution to show Library in finder is:
open terminal
type:
chflags nohidden ~/Library
