Scam?

I recieved an email today from what appears to be Logos customer service. The title of the email is "Restoring Your Digital Library Licenses" and the email opens by greeting me by name and then thanks me for my inquiry. The thing is, I've never made an inquiry to Logos customer service. The email has my ID correct, but also has an attachment. I'm a little cautious about opening the attachment since I don't recall every submitting an inquiry to Logos.
Anyone else recieve anything similar? Is it safe to open?

For peace of mind, you should give customer service a call.

This may be a phishing email. Forward the email to Logos customer service. Do not open the attachment.

The same happened to me. Got an email:
"This is to inform you that there was a problem unlocking your order of Duke
Databank of Documentary Papyri (256 vols.).
Please call us at 1-800-875-6467
or email us at customerservice@logos.com to resolve
this issue.
When contacting us, please reference Transaction ......"Without taking any action I got another email in 4 hours:
"Restoring Your Digital Library Licenses"
and the databank began to download.

I reached Logos customer service this morning and spoke to Carla. She was very helpful. The email I recieved was in regard to unlocking licenses in Libronix DLS. Since I run L4, it didn't pertain to me. Carla did indicate that there were a lot of Michael Kellys in their system and that maybe the email was meant for one of them and the wrong user was selected.
Alabama, I appreciate your quick responses and help. [:D]

So for the record it looks as if these e-mails are legit. It was good though to check with CS. E-mail phishing is quickly becoming the preferred method of pick-pocketers (at least the lazy ones!)
