I have a Nook Tablet that I rooted using the instructions found here. After rooting use the browser on your NT to browse to this link and you will be able to install a beta version of Logos.
You also may be able to gain access to Logos on NT using the above link if you are running firmware version 1.4.0. However, it will not work if you are running 1.4.1.

I'm running a Nook Simply Touch (the eInk eBook reader). This upgraded to the latest Nook release and then rooted. I was able to install Logos from Android Market and it runs just fine. Well, at least as fine as it does on my Droid. I still don't understand why all of the books I own and use on my Mac do not show up on the Android version, but I assume this is a beta issue.
But as far as running on a Nook Simple Touch (so long as you root it) ... WORKS FINE.

Hi Thomas - and welcome to the forums.

This is not a beta issue, it is a licensing issue.
Some publishers have not granted Logos the rights to publish their resources to mobile platforms - this is why some resources are not available to Android and iOS platforms. More resources are being continually added to the list of "mobile-enabled"
To see whether or not a resource is available on mobile devices have a look at its description on the Logos product pages. If it has a mobile phone icon associated with it, it is available on mobile devices.

Ditto, I've got Logos for Android running on my Nook using these same sites. I'm pretty happy with the Nook after rooting it. For me it was the right combination of size, storage (with SD card), quality and price.Graig Wheelock said:I have a Nook Tablet that I rooted using the instructions found here. There are also now ways to root the Nook after it is upgraded to 1.4.1 though they are a bit more complicated.

I just bought Nook Tablets for my wife and I. I didn't want to void any warranties so rooting was out. I found an app from one of Mr Walkers posts with a link that let me set the NT to accept installation of other apps. From there (with an 8GB MicroSDHC card required) I installed Logos right from the logos web site through the .94 release announcement in the forum.
It seems to be working fine although the release is behind the the IPhone release.

It is possible to run the Logos Android App on the Nook Tablet even without rooting it. I picked up the 16gb NT a couple of weeks ago, have been pouring over the forums (xda-developers is great, also found stuff on tabletroms.com, blog.the-ebool-reader.com) and found a few things.
1- B&N will repartition the memory for you to give you access to 8gb of storage. You have to take it into the store, but they have the sd card to make it happen.
2- If still on 1.4.0 OS, you can sideload an app that opens up options for you to allow "unknown soures." Go to amazon.com/app-email on the NT's browser. It will prompt you to allow unknown sources, then lets you download the amazon app market. You need to get a few apps to make it all work (app manager, NT Hidden Settings, ES File Explorer, etc.), but once it's set up, smooth. I have been able to add Logos, Vysro, and plenty of other non-B&N apps to my home page and use them regularly. Again, look to xda-developers for detailed forums.
If beyond 1.4.0 OS, those sites can tell you how to roll back to 1.4.0 and not auto-update. I didn't want to loose my B&N account and nook stuff, so this was the best way to go.

Peter, thanks for that info--it restores some confidence in the NT for me--I've stayed an NC guy due to BN design decisions in the NT.
I also *really* wish the L4Android app would do highlights/reading plans. They must really be having trouble with it.
