Last Sunday we tried to use the Remote Android app as an alternative display for our Proclaim presentation. For the most part it worked well. As my son changed the slides on his laptop, the 8" COBY KYROS followed along. However there was a lag (i.e. the projected image would change noticably before the content on the Android tablet). As we project EVERYTHING in our worship (i.e. all the readings, all the prayers, the Eucharistic Prayer, etc.) the lag made people in the congregation wonder if I was having problems reading. I liked using the app as I didn't have to look behind me to see what slide we were on, but I'm hoping that I can find a way to decrease the lag time. If anyone has suggestions, I'd appreciate them. I'm also hoping that the Presenter View might be useful in solving some of our issues once it is implemented.
