Slow behavior

All of our users have the same basic complaint. It's slow.

When Pastor is editing his content slides, every character he types or edits causes Proclaim to refresh EVERYTHING! He's getting quite frustrated with it. But, it's still better than uploading his slides ONE AT A TIME. For your viewing pleasure.

(As a note, I typed that text all at once. I type at 105 WPM. But, when you look at this video, it appears that I type 1 letter per minute.)

Part of the the slowdown you are seeing is likely related to the speed of your internet connection.

Every character typed into the song title field creates a query to our server. Our developers will be looking at optimization for future updates.

The real concern here is that Proclaim is redrawing the song slides as you type as well. That is not intended. I have submitted this to our developers for review.

As an added note, my internet connection is 10Mbps down, 3Mbps up.

Just discovered another HUGE issue:

If I have Proclaim open on my computer and the pastor has it open on his computer, the program becomes useless. Every change he makes forces my screen to redraw, meaning I can't really do anything. So, while he's editing his sermon, I cannot our songs or videos. And vise versa.

While attempting this, both of our programs crashed.

Yes, we have noticed this as well. We are working on improvements to how Proclaim handles syncing edits on the fly that should alleviate much of this issue.
