So I just switched over to Mac. How exciting. Downloaded Logos and all I get a "signing in" window. What's up?
Logos may take a while to download all the resources and index. I remember it taking a while when I first installed. How long has it been? How big is your library?
Are you saying that while it says it's "signing in" it's actually downloading? I expected it to take a while to download all the resources but how can I tell that it's downloading and not just stuck?
Is there a "Logos" icon at the top of your screen? Click on it and see what it says.
Wiki has Mac and PC User Interface Differences => Indexer Icon with Mac and PC screen shots of Logos 4 Indexer.
Also, Apple Mac OS X includes Activity Monitor utility that can show current network use.
The logos icon never comes up. Just "signing in"...............
Can you tell us about your computer? What OS are you running? Have you tried re-downloading? You can Download the installer again.
Puzzling; would like to look at diagnostic logs (especially to check network communications with Logos servers). Wiki Mac Troubleshooting => How to Report Bugs in Logos 4 Mac includes link to => 5504.Logos4MacLogging.app.zip (an applescript application to display Logos 4 Mac logging setting with option to change); also has link to => Logos Log Scribe that creates a zip file of Logging folder after copying console messages into Logging folder.
Other option is contacting Logos Mac Support => http://www.logos.com/about/contact With your permission, Logos can connect with desktop sharing (Monday thru Friday).
