Downloaded Proclaim to MacBook Pro from address in invite email

Dialog box for log-in appeared, but during download/launch the input source had been re-set to Greek characters, so log-in failed.
Re-booted; same problem. Hard to correct until I found out how to change input source (in Language & Text)
No longer possible to select English Canada, so have selected Australian instead, and key input has reverted to English characters.
On reboot, Finder opened in Finance sub-folder; strange as I had not accessed that folder before shut down.
Worried that this may indicate a virus rather than a bug.
