Slide Duration

I have read every post and tried everything I could think of, but I still can not figure out how to change the slide duration in the pre-service. Since most of the slides take at least 8 to 10 seconds to read for an average reader, 3 seconds just is not long enough. Is there a way to change this?

Hi Weston,

What sort of service item are you trying to adjust the pre-service duration for? Most of our service items include the option to change this setting.

Just look for the "Auto-advance every _ seconds" checkbox and click on the numerical portion of the text. This should expand a popup that will allow you to choose from some preset durations or to specify your own by typing it in.

Yes thank you! I found that. But now, that means each slide in the slide show is all the same. So I guess, again, I can not change the duration for each individual slide. This is in the "pre-service" section. It is the announcement slides that are made in Keynote, exported to jpegs. Then the whole lot of them were put into the pre-service. So all 20 slides are in one section. I just realized that I will have to make individual slides for each one. Thanks again.
