MUST HAVE the ability to select a start slide

1. When "On Air" is clicked the presentation starts at the beginning. We NEED the ability to select a location when I click 'On Air', rather than the software returning to just the first slide.

2. We also want 'Blank On' and 'Blank off" with the ability to edit something or add something while the screen is blank. As it stands. whatever you click after "Blank" then projects to the screen.

Ctrl+Enter will go On-Air with the first slide

Ctrl+Shift+Enter will go On-Air with the currently selected slide

If you are on Mac, use Cmd+Enter and Cmd+Shift+Enter instead of Ctrl.

Great suggestion. Would you mind adding this to our Uservoice for Proclaim (http://proclaim.uservoice.com/forums/137112-general). That will help us keep track of feature requests.

I get around this by making my desktop background black (or a very dark blue in my case because my projectors won't sync the signal to a black background) This way when you go off air, you get a black screen, make your edits then use Tom's tip of ctrl+shift+enter to start the presentation from the desired slide.

If I understand you correctly this is already supported.

Go On Air with presentation with current slide == slide 1
Click the blank quick screen
While remaining On Air enter Edit mode (this is probably the piece you're missing)
Single click on the service item you want to edit in the timeline
make your edits

I have just been trying this feature on my mac and every time I hit edit after being on air proclaim freezes and I have to force quit. Thoughts? Is this memory leak thing again?

I'm unable to reproduce this issue, even using your most recent presentation. To be sure you've successfully updated to the latest version with the memory leak fix please check Help > About Proclaim and verify the version number is 1.00.0.0057

If you're up to date and still crashing I'd love to see the log files.

Mac:

/Users/[username]/(~Library)/Application Support/Proclaim/Logging/
The Library folder might be hidden. If so, hit CMD+Shift+G and enter "~/library" into the box.

Thanks for your help, but when I use Cmd+Shift+Enter on my Mac to get to the starting point selected I am having issues. The presentation starts on the second slide instead of the first slide (as in a normal start up with On AIr), but never goes to any slide other than the second one no matter what I select. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

That is odd. I have been unable to reproduce this behavior. Is this occurring with all presentations or just a particular one?

What version of OS-X are you running on that machine?
