Calvin's Commentaries (46 vols.) - missing in Passage Guide for John 3:16

I finally have CC! Found it more reasonably priced this Christmas.
I've scanned the forums and I find nothing concrete about this yet: It's in there but it doesn't show up if I run a Passage Guide on the test verse John 3:16. It worked on Psalm 1:1 and John 1:1 however. Strange.
How can one get Logos to recognize the new collection completely - when it doesn't know how to automatically?
thanks

You shouldn't have to do anything. The Passage Guide only displays the top six commentaries by default. I have to click the "more >>" link to display the rest of the commentaries before I see it in my list, because I have prioritized other commentaries higher:
If you want to prioritize it higher and need info on how to do it: http://wiki.logos.com/Prioritizing

I have set Calvin as the second in priority and I've also expanded to show all commentaries. The CC does show up in test search Ps. 1:1 and Jn. 1:1, but not Jn. 3:16.Are there different versions of the CC? Perhaps I have to reindex my library?

Yes there are.
Show us the resource information: open the John Commentary resource, and click on the resource information button ("i" in a circle):
Then select and copy the support info (at the bottom of the window) and paste it in here.
Also copy and paste the citation here too.

I took a clue and typed in John 3:16 in the search box, brought the section up immediately.
My Citation and Support info match yours exactly. Perhaps this just wasn't properly indexed? ..is there a way to check Logos to see if it's properly configuring John as a commentary for use?
thanks for the assistance

Well, you have the latest version.

That would be my next suggestion. (Enter "rebuild index" in the command bar)
EDIT: actually, before you reindex, open up the passage guide for john 3:16, and then select "Delete This Guide" from the panel menu.
The guide will then rebuild. It's possible the commentary was deleted from the saved guide by clicking the "X" button at the end of the entry in the PG. PGs are automatically saved when you run them, and are reused when you re-run it for the same passage.

I reindexed from last night, came home with it completed. Nothing changed, so that wasn't it.
During the Passage Guide search, I went to the selection of commentaries and chose Calvin - so it popped up alright. I then went back to view All commentaries again - and the Calvin books were there intact!
Somehow that triggered them to be recognized again. For good measure, I deleted the Guide as later suggested and all seems well.
thanks for the help guys, appreciated very much
