Display Switch
How do I get the full screen display to show on my projection screens and not on my computer monitor? The preference selection, which is where I assume it would be, is not able to be selected.

having the same issue with a new iMac. when I drag the display to the second monitor I have two problems:
1. I can't see the cursor so as to make the picture full screen
2. If I do manage to get it full screen then the application window goes with it.
EDIT - don't know how, but I fixed my problem... working like a champ. That said, would love to be able to add an internet feed as an item to my plan.

Web page items are a planned feature for a future release. I don't have an eta on that for you at this time however.

It would be nice to have some sort of user guide... I need to display the on air screen on my secondary displays but it will not work that way. Any help would be appreciated

When you go on air you should be able to drag the presenter window to your projector display. Once there click the Full Screen button in the upper right corner of the presenter window. The escape key will get you out of full screen mode.

When i do that, it takes the control window with it. The programers should come up with a better way to do display the output... Its difficult to see the full screen button when the LCD screens are 75 feet away from the media booth. Thanks!

I'm having this same problem - When I switch to presentation mode, the presentation screen pops up on my computer monitor and when I try to drag it to the projector screen, I can see my cursor, but not the window. I'm using an iMac.
If there's an answer to this problem, I would really appreciate it!

UPDATE:
I figured a portion of it out -
First, I had to make sure I didn't have anything else open that would be using the projector (I closed ProPresenter)
Then, I went to "on air" mode in Proclaim and it brought up the projection screen on my computer. I made this window smaller so it would fit on the projection side and made it full screen over there.
Now the only problem is that I can't adjust the full screen mode to fit the size of our screen. Full screen mode makes the screen the size of the entire projector, but we don't use the entire projection space.
It would be nice to be able to control the projection size.

If you don't go 'full screen' (which actually does what it says on the tin) you can adjust the window size and position by dragging the sides of the window.
The main problem is that you will still see the header bar. It isn't pretty but people will quickly get used to it and filter it out.

Hi there,
I'm testing the software and am running into the same issue as others. When I go "On Air" and then click "full screen" the user interface gets shifted to the 2nd screen/projector and the projected words go to full screen on my laptop screen. I've played with my MacBook Pro's screen preferences but that doesn't do anything. As has been pointed out, if I drag the display window to the 2nd screen, then it works.
I hope Logos is planning on fixing this. I want to be able to project without the congregation seeing me drag things to the correct window.
Also, I second the call to have a user's manual. Why do we have to search the forum to find answers on how to use the program?
Looking forward to you adding other features. Not sure if I'll purchase the program at this point. But I sure would like to. Can you tell us when the display switch issue will be fixed? Or other features added?

Douglas, If you click On-Air before service and drag the window over and full screen it, then just click On-Air again to come out of the presentation it will remember to go back full screen on second monitor the next time you click On-Air.

Its not pretty yet as I just copy/pasted yesterday and haven't had time to work on formatting, but you can get some good stuff in the wiki, hopefully others in the user community and the dev's will add to it as they can.

On our machines setting the Presentation window to another monitor is a saved preference that comes back on subsequent restarts of Proclaim.

I've tried adjusting the monitor settings in system preferences, thinking that this is where I should change preference settings. No matter. However the preference settings in system preferences is set up, wherever the presentation window is located, that becomes the presentation screen. This means that if I want the projector to be the presentation screen, I need to drag the presentation to that window before hitting the full screen icon.
Proclaim's preference menu option is greyed out. So I can't look there to see what the preference settings are.
I'm running OS X 10.7.3 on a macbook pro.
Any help you have would be appreciated.

That is strange. I have alerted our developers to the issue and they will be looking into it.

Hi Douglas,
I'm looking into this issue, trying to understand what you are experiencing. Unfortunately, I am not able to reproduce the symptoms you are describing.
The typical use pattern for which the Presentation Window was designed is:
- Connect, power-on and configure your projector before starting Proclaim
- In the Proclaim Window, click On-Air
- A Presentation Window appears
- Positions the Presentation Window on the desired screen/projector
- Resize the Presentation Window to the desired size or simply click the "Full Screen" button in order to use the whole display
- Proceed with the presentation
- When the presentation is done, click the "On-Air" button in the Proclaim Window again to go off-air. Don't change the Presentation Window size or position.
- The next time you go On-Air, Proclaim will remember where the Presentation Window was when you went off-air and put it back there if possible.
Is this approximately how you are using the Presentation Window?
"If possible" in the last bullet item means that if your monitor configuration (number of devices, settings, arrangement) differs when you go on-air again from how it was when you went off-air, Proclaim might not be able to make a correct decision about how to position the Presentation Window. Some examples of when this could happen are when you:
- power off or disconnect a projector or monitor while on-air
- re-arrange the monitors in System Preferences -> Displays
- plug devices in to different ports even while Proclaim is not running
So if, for example, you disconnect your projector or make changes in the
"Displays" section of System Preferences, and then go on-air again,
Proclaim might have already adapted to the changed environment even
though you changed it back later.One other wrinkle: if you go on-air and fullscreen with the Presentation Window on the same screen as your Proclaim Window (where you edit/control the presentation), Proclaim will know this is not ideal and will move the Proclaim Window, placing it on a different display device if one is available. Otherwise, Proclaim avoids moving windows automatically, leaving that up to the user.
Being able to quickly, easily and predictably go on-air is a central feature of Proclaim. I would like to make sure it is working well for you. Please let me know if the use-pattern delineated above does not produce the expected results. Also, please be sure you are not changing the display configuration while on-air (e.g.., go off-air before turning off your projector).

Thank you for your response to the issues above.
One other issue that should be resolved is the bar on the "on air" screen if you don't want the full screen mode. Our church bought proclaim, but we haven't switched over to it yet because of this bar.
