Possible Bug: Missing Resource

Dear Logos,

I contacted tech support regarding this issue and was refered here to the forums because I was running the beta (4.5 Beta 13).

Basically, my resource count is off by one and it refuses to download. The resource is called "Inaugural Addresses of the Presidents of the United States", and the file name should be INAUG.lbxlls.

I quick search of the forums found the same problem happening with the same resource.

I've done all I know to do to force Logos 4 to download and it has been unsuccessful. The tech support person I spoke to also gave the system a little "nudge" on his side and the resource didn't download.

Because of the history of this file being difficult to download for some reason it was suggested I submit this to the forums as a potential bug with the hope a developer might be able to look into it.

Included below are my log files in a zipped folder. Not sure if they will be helpful or not.

Indexer.log file has: "Logos 4 Logging is not enabled." so log files are not helpful.

Wonder about enabling diagnostic logging, downloading inaug.lbxlls from ftp://ftp.logos.com/lbxbooks , then use scan command, followed by restarting Logos 4.5 Beta ?

Option: download and use an applescipt application 5504.Logos4MacLogging.app.zip to display logging setting, then change to enable logging. Wiki has => http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging#Mac with terminal commands, which are used in applescript application.

If resource does not appear in your library, please download then use Logos Log Scribe application to create a zip file on your desktop (copies console messages, then compresses contents of your Logging folder for posting). Wiki Using the Forums => Adding a picture to a Post shows adding a picture file (instead of a picture, please add compressed file).

Thanks for the advice! I was able to get the resource recognized by Logos after downloading it from the FTP site and doing the scan command.

So all is well now.

But I do wonder why that one resource wasn't downloading. Even the tech I spoke to on the phone seemed rather surprised to hear a resource wasn't downloading.

Puzzling, especially since scan command only copies licensed resources.
