When I buy a book in Vyrso (say, Slave by MacArthur), does it interact with my Logos Bible Software in the same way that a book I buy from Logos (say, Hard to Believe)? In other words, will it work with all of the searches, guides, collections, etc?

Yes it does, so far the only major difference I have noticed is a lack of page numbers. You can add them to a collection so they can then show up in searches ect.

Example: there have been two free Vyrso books on prayer. You could create a collection including them on prayer along with the books by E.M. Bounds for example that are in many base packages.

    Blessings,

Jim - "Vyrso" editions are distinguished from "Logos" editions in that the former are "bare bones." The only thing that has really been done to them from the publisher is an automated process of having scripture references hyperlinked. If your Vyrso book had a reference to another, non-biblical book, it would not be hyperlinked.

Vyrso books in Logos are just as searchable as any other "plain jane" eBook, but have the advantage of working with your Logos library. Search results, however, will be less accurate than "Logos edition" books because they have not been extensively tagged.

The good news is that most Vyrso books are not "academic" in nature and would benefit less from tagging than the other books in your collection. I would not hesitate to purchase a Vyrso book in the least. In fact, I have purchased quite a few. [:)]

If I import the Vyrso book into Logos, do scripture links include the books of the Apocrypha?

    Thanks.
