BUG - In 4.5 cannot create link to multiple verses that are not sequential

In 4.5, I cannot create a link to verses that are non-sequential. For example, Matthew 1:1 works as a link, Matthew 1:1-3 works as a link, but Matthew 1:1,3 does not create a link that works.

Hovering mouse over examples in forum post, noticed Ref Tagger shows four links: Matthew 1:1 , Matthew 1:1-3 , Matthew 1:1 and Matthew 1:3 that is consistent with Logos 4.5 on Windows that likewise cannot create one link for non-sequential verses. Logos 4.5 open command cannot handle non-sequential verses. Logos 4.5 Search can look for single or sequential verses. For example, a search for <~Mt1.1,3> finds nothing while <~Mt1.1>,<~Mt1.3> finds a lot.
Passage List can have non-sequential verses with option to add heading(s) as desired.

It doesn't have to be one link, it can be two. However, no links at all are created. That's the problem.

Understand issue; automatically creating scripture hyperlinks in notes has not (yet) been implemented in Logos 4 Mac user interface. Thankful for Logos 4.5 improvement so can use hyperlinks automatically created using Logos 4 on Windows, then sync'd to Mac. Option: please vote for Logos User Voice suggestion => Improve Logos 4 Mac Feature Parity with PC
Wiki Mac and PC User Interface Differences => Feature Parity includes:
- PC Notes can automatically hyperlink scripture in notes while hyperlink can be manually added on Mac

Yes, I know that links aren't created automatically on Mac. The issue is that no hyperlink is created when I go through the process to create the link manually.

Apologies: using Logos 4.5a Beta 1, unable to replicate hyperlink issue.
In a Bible, copy location as URL
In a Note file, highlight text for hyperlinking, then click link icon (or use command+K):
Paste URL location from Bible into hyperlink entry box, then press <return> or <enter> key:
The selected text should change color to blue to indicate hyperlink added. For pop-up, needed to click elsewhere in contents, then move mouse to hover over link:
Verified Cmd+Click worked to open ESV to Philippians 4:4

Before 4.5, you could simple put the passage itself in the hyperlink box, you didn't have to copy as url. This used to work, but now does not and is what led to my original report of the issue.

Now understand bug report since typing Php4.4,8 to generate a note hyperlink for two verses does not work while Php4.4-8 does work to generate one hyperlink, which is the same as Logos 4.5a Beta 1 on Windows.
For grins in Logos 4.5a Beta 1, highlighted ESV in my Notes file, used command+k, then typed an abbreviated verse reference: Php4.4
Pressed enter, then clicked to move text insertion pointer, followed by hovering mouse over ESV:
Appears hyperlink to one verse (or contiguous range of verses) in Top preferred Bible can be entered using reference.
By the way, Logos support has Bible book abbreviations => http://www.logos.com/L4/support/biblebookabbrev

Thanks for the great explanation. I too moved from Windows to Mac and the verse hyperlink feature was driving me crazy.

Understand crazy; wiki Mac and PC User Interface Differences => Feature Parity now includes:
- PC Notes can automatically hyperlink scripture in notes while hyperlink can be manually added on Mac
- Logos: We presently use operating system controls for rich text editing on each platform. The functionality is not the same on each, and we are unable to hook in at a low level to enable all the desired features on the Mac platform. Our long term plan is to replace the OS provided rich text editor with our own component, but until then we are unlikely to be able to advance the text editing features beyond their current state.
Apologies: have no idea for automatic hyperlinking on Mac.
