Partial Chorus/Verse

I'm trying to delete part of a verse/chorus that is on multiple slides (sometimes a chorus has two slides and I just need one of them). When I go to delete the slide I don't need, it deletes the whole chorus/verse. Any knowledge you can drop to help me here?

This text is not appearing the same way that it is in the slide pane. The order above the editor may say 1, C, 2, C, B, C, E, but the text in the editor doesn't show the second chorus, so I can't remove it there. If I remove it, it removes it everywhere.

I don't use Proclaim (no internet at the display computer), but the typical solution in other programs is to create a Chorus2 (e.g.) that is shorter/different than Chorus1 and call it C2 instead. It really doesn't matter if the music has a C2 or not, or that the musicians call it C2. What matters is that the display understands that it's not exactly the same as C1. I've used this strategy, even when it's just one line of a chorus that's dropped or added, when a chorus is repeated. In that case your order could be 1, C1, 2, C2, B, C2 E (or whatever variation works with that particular song).
