We've had this happen on two Macs that our media team work with. One Mac is a personal laptop at home, the other is now the iMac that resides at church. I don't know what created this problem with the Mac at home, but that user also has a PC, and does not experience the problem with the PC.
The iMac had a power cutoff while we were reviewing today's presentation. The computer was restarted, and Proclaim launched. It got to the 'logging in' screen, and just CLOSED. The user with the Mac at home has had this problem almost since it was installed on her laptop.
We restarted the iMac again, deleted, then re-downloaded the software, reinstalled it, and we CANNOT GET PAST THE 'LOGGING IN' SCREEN BEFORE THE PROGRAM CLOSES! On the last attempt, I got the system message that Proclaim had closed unexpectedly, and that a report would be sent to Apple. Upon restarting, it just closed again without that report.
I left a phone message with tech help and sent an email, but you don't offer support on Sunday morning. Hmm.
I'm suspecting there is a 'cookie' somewhere, whether on the cloud, on the iMac or at LOGOS somewhere, that decides something for the software and shuts it down. I tried clearing cookies on Safari on the iMac, but that did not work, either.
Thanks for your assistance - we are dead in the water with our church's iMac until this can be fixed.
