What is the Sync 2 feature implemented in the 4.5a update supposed to emable. Did I misunderstand; I thought the reading plans on your desktop would now be synced to your iPad. Is this incorrect?
Reading plans have indeed moved over to sync v2 in the 4.5a update. To function correctly, the mobile app needs to be updated to 2.1, which is currently in private beta (2.1b3). I do not know when it will be released publicly. Sorry. [:(]
I can tell you that the sync is working well (for me at least). I am able to successfully do my daily readings on my iPad/iPhone.
Should ratings and tags be syncing in iOS, or is that pending the next update?
A thread in the PC beta forum suggests that these are now on sync v2.
According to the release notes of 4.5a, ratings & tags have migrated to sync v2. There are some who claim that tags are syncing to the beta version of the mobile app, but this is not my experience. I don't know if another beta will bring about this change in this cycle or not.
