It's likely that a number of Community Pricing titles are likely to reach 100% before too long. I think there are a number of ideas that can help reduce the prices as bids close. I've put two of these in the Logos.com website forum:
Please Reduce the Increments for Community Pricing - http://community.logos.com/forums/t/46063.aspx
Extend Minimum Community Pricing Closure Time to at Least 1 Week - http://community.logos.com/forums/t/45697.aspx
The idea is that those suggestions are left as simple suggestions for people to indicate agreement. Please visit the threads and indicate if you agree with each one. Please also feel free to add new threads for your own suggestions, but keep each suggestion simple. The general section of the forums appears to be a lot more frequently visited than the Logos.com website section, so I would like to suggest that debate about the suggestions can happen here, leaving the suggestion threads for simple indications of agreement.
Dave's thread (http://community.logos.com/forums/t/44397.aspx) illustrates what often happens as prices remain high, while another recent thread (http://community.logos.com/forums/t/45602.aspx) illustrated what can happen when there is ample time and smaller increments.
I'd like to see Logos acting on these sooner rather than later, especially as I think they are simple to change and they could have fairly instant advantages, not least reducing frustration among those of us who regularly use Community Pricing and wish these simple changes were implemented.
Of course, I'd be happy for a Logos employee to let me know why the changes are neither simple nor desirable but, until then, how about indicating agreement on each of the suggestions?
Thanks.
