At the moment you would need to copy and paste the text from your database into the lyrics field of a song item. Yes - that would be tedious for a lot of songs. Depending on how the text is formatted in your database, you might be able to create a simple script in a text editor that would re-format songs for Proclaim more easily.
As far as getting CCLI songs into Proclaim goes, if you have a SongSelect account, you just need to link your Proclaim account with SongSelect. This can be done under the "Account" menu in the upper right corner of Proclaim. Once the accounts are linked, you create a new song item, start typing the name of your song into the title field, and then choose the song you want from a scrolling list that will pop up as you type.
