Logos will not open

When I opened Logos a few minutes ago, it downloaded an update and then failed to restart. My mac mini locked up and I had to restart it. Since then, Logos will open but no window. Can't even get the library window to display. I tried deleting the layout file which didn't help. Then I tried reinstalling and still nothing. I can't even get a window to open when I click "about Logos Bible".

Would like to look at diagnostic log files.

Could enable diagnostic logging, restart Mac, launch Logos 4 Mac. If window does not appear, wait for 4 minutes. If still no window, then compress log files and attach to a forum reply. Wiki Mac Troubleshooting has => How to Report Bugs in Logos 4 Mac

Optional: download and use 5504.Logos4MacLogging.app.zip to display your logging setting, then change to enable logging.

the applescript application uses the terminal commands in wiki => http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging#Mac

Optional: download and use Logos Log Scribe application to create a zip file on your desktop that includes your diagnostic logs plus a copy of console messages.

Michael - First, welcome to the forums! Sorry you are having troubles.

Can you explain more about your situation? What version are you using? What OS? Can you open to a blank layout (press command immediately after starting the app and hold down until dialogue box appears)?

When Logos 4 Mac is launched with Use Internet set to yes (default), then Logos 4 syncs data changes for Logos.com account plus Indexer checks if resources need indexing.

To offer idea(s) about "What is the deal?" would like to look at diagnostic log files. From experience with a variety of Logos 4 Mac releases, am aware of several possibilities for Logos not opening.
