Vyrso: a great place for Pentecostal resources
A lot of the really good (or at least 'interesting') Pentecostal books are not research books that would work well in Logos, but they are good 'trade books' in the sense that they are interesting and inspiring to read. Vyrso would make a great platform for them.
Two publishers come to mind: Destiny Image and Charisma House. Maybe some others know of other publishing houses they'd like to suggest.

Great idea!

I'm confused about the Church of God collection on Logos - some of the books seem to be critical of the modern tongues movement, but I thought Church of God was part of that?

I was too, but I believe there is a Pentecostal and a non-Pentecostal denomination of the same name, or close to the same name.Dean053 said:I'm confused about the Church of God collection on Logos - some of the books seem to be critical of the modern tongues movement, but I thought Church of God was part of that?

There are many denominations that include the name "Church of God" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Church_of_God)
Hovering the mouse over the 'publishers' on the web page suggests the collection in Logos is Church of God (Anderson, Indiana). You might also note that the Church of God (Anderson, Indiana) has had some change in theology over the years, and much of what one finds in the collection is somewhat old. Looking at the web site for beliefs, and specifically the documents compiled by the Faculty of the Anderson School of Theology, their position on tongues is currently somewhat moderated from what has been suggested here.

Great suggestion. There are some Pentecostal/Charismatic books already in Vyrso but it would be great to see much more. [Y]
