Planning Center Online Integration - Now Available

Planning Center Online integration is now complete and released in the latest version of Proclaim. Some of you may have already unlocked this through a key given in another forum while it was under development, but we're excited to announce that everyone is now able to use this feature.
This new option eliminates a time consuming step of manually duplicating your 'order of service' from the planning site into your presentation software. Now, each order service item in Planning Center Online is automatically imported as a service item into a Proclaim presentation. Simply connect your account and you are ready to bring in your plans to a presentation.
To connect your account you and import a plan to a presentation, go to "NEW" in Proclaim to start a new presentation and select "IMPORT FROM PLANNING CENTER". After connecting your Planning Center account you will see all your planned services to choose from. Select the plan you would like as a presentation in the expandable list, and then select "IMPORT".
After importing a plan to make a presentation, you can drag and drop the service items into the proper areas of your presentation (pre-service loop, warm-up, service or post service loop).
Enjoy and let us know what you think.

I might just be a bit dull today. Clicking on the "Import from planning centre" link, I arrive at the "Planning Centre Online" page. It asks for my to log on because I am not linked. True. To log on to the planning center it asks for my email and a password. What do I type in here, since my normal Logos password does not work. So, does one need to register first somewhere else? Besides, what is the purpose of the "Planning Centre"?

PlanningCenterOnline is a third-party Church planning website. It allows you to create sermon plans, schedule worship team members and more.
You will need to go to PlanningCenterOnline.com to register for their service if that is something you wanted to use. A Proclaim license does not automatically grant access to PlanningCenter.
Proclaim now allows you to import your PlanningCenter sermon plans into Proclaim presentations automatically.
Hope that helps,

Matt,
We are loving how song sequence is importing so well from PCO. Its a huge time saver! I see that PCO item descriptions and detail import into the Notes field of the Proclaim items. One of the things we were expecting/hoping for is that the content of our PCO items would import as well- PPT files for sermons, item description text in PCO (or details in PCO) would be imported into the content of the slides, etc. That would save even more time and enable to plan even better. Is there a way to do that?
Thanks for the latest updates... you are delivering on the dream of platform agnostic planning.

I'd encourage you to post your suggestion on our Uservoice page: http://proclaim.uservoice.com/
That is where we track customer suggestions and overall interest in new features.

Great news Anton, we are working on Power Point integration. We'll update the forums when it's ready.

Mike, Keynote is a planned feature though we're currently focused on PowerPoint.
The real good news though is that in order to implement PowerPoint integration we've added a number of significant improvements to the Proclaim infrastructure and some improvements to features that will greatly enhance usability.
More information will be coming soon!

That feature should be working. Are you importing those on a Mac or PC?
It would also be helpful to see your log files.

I, too, am having problems importing certain parts of songs, specifically PreChorus, Misc, etc. from Planning Center Online lyrics. PreChorus for example gets imported with a space between Pre and Chorus, so it doesn't recognize it.
Is there a certain set of tags that Proclaim supports out of PCO? From what I can tell, Verse, Chorus, Bridge and Tag work fine, but not others.
Appreciate any help that you can provide.

I am unable to reproduce that behavior. What song and arrangement are you using? Is it from SongSelect?
Both Pre-chorus and PreChorus seem to work for me.
Thanks,

Yes, the songs are imported from song select. Below is a portion of a song, what the tags are in PCO, what Proclaim imports and what gets translated to the display.
I was thinking, too, that maybe this behavior is related to the fact that we are just evaluating Planning Center Online and Proclaim with the Free versions? Maybe there is restricted functionality with the Free Version? That would make sense to me, but I don't want to assume that.
Again, I really appreciate your help in troubleshooting this. It just baffles me.
Song:
Verse 1
Blessed be Your name
In the land that is plentiful
Where Your streams of abundance flow
Blessed be Your nameVerse 2
Blessed be Your name
When I'm found in the desert place
Though I walk through the wilderness
Blessed be Your namePreChorus
Every blessing You pour out
I'll turn back to praise
When the darkness closes in
Lord still I will sayChorus 1
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your name
Blessed be the name of the Lord
Blessed be Your glorious nameVerse 3
Blessed be Your name
When the sun's shining down on me
When the world's all as it should be
Blessed be Your nameVerse 4
Blessed be Your name
On the road marked with suffering
Though there's pain in the offering
Blessed be Your nameBridge
You give and take away
You give and take away
My heart will choose to say
Lord blessed be Your nameTags in PCO:
Blessed Be Your Name
Default Arrangement in G
V1, V2, PC, C, V3, V4, PC, C, B, B, C, C
What Proclaim Imports:
Verse 1, Verse 2, Chorus 1, Verse 3, Verse 4, Chorus 1, Bridge 1, Bridge 1, Chorus 1, Chorus 1
Note: Actually this one doesn't even import PreChorus
What Gets Displayed:
Exactly what is above with out the prechorus. I have had other instances where PreChorus gets imported but with a space and therefore what happens is the word Pre Chorus shows up on the slide itself. I'll try to find an example of this.
