Having difficulty syncing presentations

I started a new blank presentation and some syncing has occurred, but I can't sync at the moment. I keep getting the yellow triangle in the upper right corner with the message: an error occurred during synchronization, click to try again.

I do try again, and again, and again...

Afraid to quit proclaim and lose all that I've worked on.

Logos just posted that they are having to do some unexpected maintenance on the synching servers. This would explain why Proclaim can't talk to the mothership at the moment.

You should be able to create your presentation locally and close it without losing everything, but you will need to open the presentation and let it synch later before it can be accessed by any other computers.
