One of the new books with L4 is Holman Bible Atlas. It has a lot of maps.

When viewing HBA in a tab and i see a map that i would like zoomed into, is there a way to have it open in Bible Places so that i can zoom in on?

    Perhaps i should ask differently,

Is there a specific command i could type in Biblical Places window to open a specific map out of Holman Bible Atlas?

It would be really neat in L4 if we could simply click on an image or map in any of our books and request that it be opened in Biblical Places (or a similar window) which allows zooming and panning.

I have noticed a few Holman Bible Atlas maps that appear in Biblical Place window.

The above zooming/panning ability would mimic using a magnifying glass with a printed book.

There are some maps which have call-outs which are not readable in the standard image view (i have seen these in Biblical Place which were readable when zoomed).

It looks only Tyndale Bible Dictionary is connected to Biblical Places as for now. It would be great if Holman Bible Atlas would be integrated also. It is 5 star resource. Excellent. Works OK in floating window plus Table of Content open on the left. But zoom of pictures is must with that resource. Will we have it Logos?

Agreed that there needs to be a way to see these in higher resolution and have a zoom capability.

Yes, they have S/W tools for zooming and panning (i.e. Biblical People, Biblical Places).

They could setup a new window called Image Zoom or Magnify using most of the S/W tools used in the above. In this window it would not be necessary to show suggested cross references, just which book it came from and possible the page number.

Below is an example from Biblical Places where they did pull a map from Holman Bible Atlas

L4 also show selective images from books.

See the image from Holman Bible Handbook
